"The Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all"

 Hi,
Welcome to the Website of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Archdiocese of Miami. We are Mary & Jim Horvath, lay coordinators for the english-speaking Catholic Charismatic Renewal and we are excited about our Lord Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church today, all to the glory of the Father!

Everyone has a testimony of their experience of God's love and mercy and we would like to briefly share our faith witness:

In 1975 because of the love and mercy of the Lord my wife and I were baptized in the Holy Spirit. We attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar at Chaminade High School and our lives began to change  in many ways. We became aware of the fact that we should make Jesus the center of our lives. We began to read the bible each day and now have a great desire to learn more about the word of God. Our prayer time took on a whole new meaning, no  more rushing through memorized prayers, but instead we realized that we were to enter God's presence with praise and thanksgiving. We became more involved in our church and began to understand more clearly what it means to belong to the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit began to lead us to study God's Word, read informative books, attend workshops and to join with  other members of the body in attending a prayer meeting each week. To live as a follower and servant of Jesus means to be obedient to the Father and live one day at a time for Him.

Please bookmark this site and keep checking with us as we continue the work of the renewal; fostering a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and allowing his Holy Spirit to empower and sanctify us.
